Place 4: Legolas
Legolas, son of Thranduil, is the first elf on this list. Like all elves, his life expectancy is significantly higher than that of men, dwarves, or hobbits. They can live many thousands of years. However, they do not change visually after the age of 100.
Unfortunately, how old Legolas is at the time of the story is never mentioned in the books. Since he considers Gimli and Aragorn to be very young, he should be much older than 100. Many believe that Legolas was born at the beginning of the Third Age. So he would be about 2500-3000 years old.
Despite the large age difference, Legolas forms a friendship with the dwarf Gimli that is very atypical for elves. With Frodo, however, he only exchanged three words throughout the trilogy. But that was enough to save Middle-earth.
