How much you need to spend if you want all the PS5 accessories

Starting November 19, you can buy the PS5 or may already have it in your hands. We explain what you need to make the most of your new console.

While the PlayStation 5 has already launched in the USA, it will be available here starting November 19. There is also a lot of accessories that you can purchase and use with Sony’s new console.

We from MeinMMO would like to give you an overview of the accessories available and how much you can expect to spend, in addition to the purchase of the console itself.

How much does everything cost together? Throughout the article, we will introduce you to the accessories and the exact costs. If you add up all the items presented, you would come to 1,170 euros, including the PS5. We will break it down for you.

PS5 and its accessories – What is available and what does it cost

PlayStation 5: You can buy the PlayStation 5 in two different versions. However, if you want to take full advantage of the console and also play your old disc games, you should opt for the console with the disc drive. The disc version costs 499 euros.

DualSense Controller

If you buy the PlayStation 5, you will get a DualSense controller included. This is Sony’s latest controller and replaces the old DualShock 4.

The controllers cost 69.99 € each, making them 10 € more expensive than for the PlayStation 4.

If you want to fully utilize the console locally in co-op mode, you would need to buy 3 DualSense controllers. 3 DualSense controllers will cost you 210 euros.

DualSense Charging Station

Each charging station can charge two DualSense controllers at the same time. If you have a total of four controllers, you will need two stations if you want to charge all controllers simultaneously. The device costs 29.99 € individually.

With the “Pulse 3D” wireless headset, Sony has introduced its official headset for the PS5. This allows you to use audio features like 3D audio. PS5 Media Remote

This device is a remote control that lets you easily navigate through the console’s apps. You can directly control Disney+, Netflix, and more, turning your PS5 into a multimedia platform. You pay 29.99 € for the remote control. The PlayStation 5, by the way, launches without an important online streaming service.

PSVR Bundle

If you want to fully utilize the PlayStation, you can buy a PSVR headset. It is available as a bundle. A sample bundle costs around 270 euros with headset, camera, and game. As for VR technology on the PlayStation, Sonys boss explained it himself.

We list the prices of each item again for you, if you want to buy all official PlayStation devices. We have rounded these to the full euro price:

• The PlayStation 5 with the disc drive costs you 500 €.
• Three additional DualSense controllers will cost you 210 €.
• Two controller charging stations will cost you 60 € together.
• The “Pulse 3D” wireless headset costs you 100 €.
• The “PS5 Media Remote” control is priced at 30 €.
• A PSVR bundle is currently around 270 € (as of 11/18/2020).

If you haven’t gotten a PS5 yet but still want to buy one, you should keep an eye on these retailers tomorrow. Because some retailers are expected to have consoles available for pre-order again at the PS5 release.
