What’s new? Riot Games has released a website where you can check how much money you have already invested in your LoL account. Players report that the website existed a few years ago, but it was taken down. However, it is back and working.
In LoL you can buy Riot Points. This is the currency with which you can purchase in-game items like skins, champions, or other cosmetic changes.
Many players are inclined to buy cool skins for their favorite champion. And that could become expensive over several years.
How much money have you spent in LoL? Just follow this link to the Riot Games Support Website.
- There is a red login button there.
- Select this and log in with your username and password.
- Make sure you also select the correct server where you registered your account.
- Update from January 13: Keep in mind that Riot Games changed your LoL accounts to Riot accounts in November 2019. Many players had to choose new usernames, which you now need for logging in.
- After logging in, you will return to the support website.
- The login button is now called “Show me the Money”
- When you click on it, the amount you have invested in LoL will be displayed.
How much money have others spent? On Reddit, you can read about excited players who can hardly believe how much money they have already invested in the game.
- “Oh hell, why did I have to see this? I have a problem”
- “Haha no thanks (I have almost 900 skins)”
- “I checked and it was 900 €. I regret nothing […]!”
- “Oh 190 pounds, not bad. Will be more soon”
- “790 € I’m so damn stupid. The game should be free to play. I fell into Riot’s trap, they made me addicted”
A player writes: “3100 dollars. Actually a bit less than I suspected after 9 years.”
Here at MeinMMO, the results are discussed in the community. Player Tim writes “Uff, 370 € in just 2 months of playtime =D. This can still become a lot.”
Others report amounts over 800 €, 900 €, and even over 5,000 €. What about you?
