Feedback on the 2vs2 alpha of Modern Warfare on PS4
What do the streamers say? The game has particularly impressed the controversial streamer Dr Disrespect. He kills an opponent with a sniper rifle in a video posted on Twitter. Then he jumps from a platform, turns 360 degrees, pulls out a pistol, and simply takes out the last opponent.
The renowned CoD champion Clyster seems to like the new game as well. He has a record of 48:1 in the 2vs2 mode and is already looking forward to the release.
Even the FaZe player ZooMaa, who actually wanted to take a little break after the end of the last season in Black Ops 4, has been convinced to play a few rounds of Modern Warfare and is impressed by the game.
How is the game received by players? On Reddit and on our site MeinMMO, there is already initial feedback from players. Curiously, the opinions are sharply divided on Reddit. One part of the players finds the movement clunky and ugly. The other half claims the complete opposite and says it is a very smooth experience.
On our site MeinMMO, the graphics are criticized. Reader Daniel Will writes: “Is anyone else disappointed by the graphics? I find the textures quite blurry. This is also after disabling the blur effects.”
Graphics are also criticized on Reddit: “The graphics look okay. Not great, but I didn’t expect much.”
However, the gunplay is praised. Our reader Chris Brunner writes: “Okay, the gunplay is a dream. I am overly skeptical about loot boxes and such, but I find the gunplay amazing. Haven’t been this satisfied with a CoD in that regard in a long time.”
It remains exciting to see how Modern Warfare ultimately is received and how the other modes besides the 2vs2 Gunfight are accepted by the fans.
