The Arathi Highlands shine in Battle for Azeroth in a new light. We show you how the zone in WoW is developing.
With the upcoming expansion Battle for Azeroth, much will change once again in World of Warcraft. While the war between Horde and Alliance rages on, more and more places in the world are becoming battlegrounds for the two factions.
These Warfronts provide an instanced scenario where the goal is to conquer a hostile fortress. Like in a real-time strategy game, units can be produced and attacks can be launched.
One of these Warfronts is in Arathi, namely the battle for the Stromgarde Fortress. This was once the seat of an entire kingdom, but has been ravaged multiple times, occupied by thieves and ogres. In BfA, Horde and Alliance fight for supremacy.
Arathi Highlands in beauty – only in the scenario?
The YouTube channel IS4 Studio shows both zones in a “before/after” comparison.
What is interesting, however, is that in this particular phase of the Arathi Highlands (where Stromgarde is located), the zone has also been extensively revamped!
It is noticeable that many places have not only been visually updated but also received completely new tasks. Small valleys have become mines that will surely be used for resource extraction.
However, it is still unclear whether this “new” Arathi Highlands will also be visible outside the Warfronts. Currently, it seems to be used only for the Warfronts and has no impact on the “old world” – but it is still very early in the Alpha of Battle for Azeroth.
What do you think of the appearance of the “new” Arathi Highlands? Should other zones also be revised once again? Or do you not want a “second Cataclysm”?
