Just newly in the game and already buffed: Zarya in Heroes of the Storm receives significant boosts.
The latest hero Zarya has only been available in Heroes of the Storm for a few days, but the developers have already released plans for buffs. The reason for this is that the stranded Russian in the Nexus does not have as much of an influence on the game as the developers had intended. The following changes will take effect with the release of the next hotfix:
- The base damage of Particle Grenade has been increased from 62 to 74 (~20%).
- The cooldown of Personal Barrier has been reduced from 12 to 10 seconds.
- Energy now decays at a rate of 1.5 per second (previously 3.0 per second).
- The cooldown of the heroic ability Graviton Surge has been reduced from 120 to 100 seconds.
The developers are trying to make Zarya a bit more popular with this hotfix and increase her win rate. Zarya is one of the heroines that had a rather poor start.
Additionally, there are several bug fixes that have slipped into the game with the latest version. Some fixes have been made for Chen, E.T.C., and Sonya, whose abilities and talents should now function as planned.
