Skins, Mounts, and a Small Gift
Blizzard is hosting the Winter Veil festival, so it is not surprising that the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm is also completely caught by the spirit of Father Winter. As last year, there are some special skins available for purchase only during the festivities, including two new additions. But even more gifts await the players!
New Skins for Adorable Undead
In addition to the Father Winter Skin for Rehgar, the Winter Veil Jaina Skin is also returning to the shop and is available for a limited time. But the Banshee Queen, Sylvanas, won’t let that slide and also dresses up in a hot winter outfit. As “Sugarplum Sylvanas“, she will soon bribe minions and towers with sweets, no longer shooting at her. Accompanying her is her loyal undead servant “Father Winter’s Little Helper“, who always has an open belly full of gifts – or so it seems.
It is also important to mention that the prices of the Winter Veil skins have been halved – Blizzard had extended the “Black Friday” sale, which lasts until the end of the year. So anyone looking to snag some cheap skins should do so before the New Year.
2 Week Booster – Only for Diligent Gamers
Appropriate to the event, there is also a special quest – or rather, two. Those who play diligently over the holidays will enjoy a booster that provides a substantial bonus to earned experience points and gold.
Gold and EXP await all who complete a Winter Veil quest.
Those who complete 15 games will receive a 4-day booster as a reward.
If you are even more persistent and play 50 games, you will receive another 10 days of booster time extra.
Both tasks can be completed simultaneously – so anyone who completes the first mission will have already achieved 15 of the 50 required games for the second.
A Free Mount for a Limited Time

During the event, there is a special Treasure Goblin mount adorned with all sorts of Christmas decorations and gifts. However, this mount will not be available for purchase, but will be freely available to all players for the duration of the festivities.
