A first video of Tracer shows the young heroine in Heroes of the Storm. We have the details for you.
Tracer – The Cavalry is here
After Dehaka was released for HotS in the past weeks, it is about time to take a closer look at Tracer. She recently made an appearance in a new cinematic “Alive” for Overwatch.
In line with this, Blizzard has now released a “Coming Soon” video, showcasing the cheerful time-jumper in action and especially highlighting her various skins.
You could already take a first look at Tracer’s abilities, which essentially correspond to the abilities from Overwatch:
Unlike other characters, Tracer can attack while running and consumes ammunition, which can be manually reloaded via the property or automatically activates once the ammunition is depleted.
- With Blink, Tracer can quickly move across the battlefield and teleport small distances. The ability has 3 charges.
- Melee is, as the name suggests, a close combat attack that deals damage to a single target and selects the next target. Hitting heroes increases the charge of the Pulse Bomb more than hitting minions.
- With Recall, Tracer can rewind time and travels to the point where she was 3 seconds ago. Her weapons are reloaded, and negative status effects are removed. Unlike in Overwatch, her health points are not restored.
- The heroic ability Pulse Bomb is thrown at a target and causes area damage. If only a single target is hit, the damage is doubled. This ability has no cooldown, but is charged by damage dealt.
When is Tracer coming to HotS?

According to Blizzard US, Tracer will be available on April 19 for everyone who pre-ordered an Overwatch: Origins Edition for PC – in Europe, this could typically be a day later.
A week later, she will be available for purchase in the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm.
Anyone planning to get an Origins Edition for PS4 or Xbox One will receive their Tracer when Overwatch launches on May 24.
