Throw snowballs and grab gold – the new brawl of Heroes of the Storm.
Christmas may have technically passed, but there is still no sign of snow and ice in large parts of Germany. However, in various games, snowball fights are part of the norm.
In Heroes of the Storm, there is now a snowball fight that can be played in the new brawl mode. Under the catchy name “Snow Brawl”, players can earn a proud 1,000 gold and a player icon featuring a crazy snowman for playing 3 matches – just like every week.
In the Snow Brawl, the Raven Lord’s map is played – so players must collect tributes and curse the opposing team. However, there are several changes to the process. It is possible for multiple tributes to appear at the same time, requiring the team to split up or focus on one tribute.
But since that alone could get boring, there are also snowballs scattered around the map. Players simply walk over them to acquire them as a special ability, which can be activated with the F key. There are two types of snowballs: fluffy and heavy. The heavy ones deal area damage and slow down enemies, while the fluffy ones hit only one target and deal high damage.
The Snow Brawl will be active for a few more days. Anyone looking to grab some extra gold should check it out at the next opportunity.
