Just a few hours ago, Blizzard’s MOBA “Heroes of the Storm” finally went live and can now be played by gamers around the world. To celebrate the launch, a small in-game bonus has been unlocked: 25% additional experience points!
More XP allows newcomers to quickly gain gold
As is usual in this genre, many things can be unlocked with a personal in-game currency, which can be painstakingly earned over many matches. In principle, gold gain is independent of experience points, but newcomers can still fill their virtual gold reserves: Each time a character reaches level 5, the corresponding account is credited with 500 gold pieces.
By the way: The XP bonus can be combined with other bonuses. If you play with friends, you receive 75% more experience, and if you add a Stimpack, it’s even a whopping 175%. This bonus event remains active until June 6th, so grab some friends and head into the Nexus!
