In Heroes of the Storm, there will be some changes to the package offers in the shop in the near future – which will greatly benefit some buyers.
Reduced Price and Gold Credits
Those who intended to purchase some heroes with real money in Heroes of the Storm and wanted to rely on package offers had to plan long-term until now. If the bundle contained a hero or skin that had been purchased before, the full price was still charged.
This is set to change in the future: If you already own parts of a package, the price of the package will be correspondingly reduced. This means that even the “Starter Pack” or the “Savings Pack: Nexus” can still be worthwhile, even if you already own some of its content.
Those who have previously purchased some items twice can look forward to an email from Blizzard and a gold credit in the game in the coming days. The amount of this credit is not yet known. Nevertheless, this is a nice gesture, as it has previously been explicitly warned on the packages that parts of the package had already been purchased.
At Gamescom, there were plenty of other announcements, such as the reveal of the Medic and the new battlefields.
