The Angel of Death Malthael has entered the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm. A worthwhile quest awaits again!
The cross-promotions between Heroes of the Storm and other Blizzard titles seem to have no end in sight at the moment. Hardly has the Nexus Challenge 2.0 and the birthday of Heroes of the Storm passed, the next bonus event follows.
To celebrate the release of the new hero Malthael, Blizzard is offering a new quest with special rewards both in Heroes of the Storm and Diablo III. The quest “Deal with Malthael” requires you to complete a total of 15 games with a friend (from your friends list) in a group while playing heroes from the Diablo universe. The games can be played against AI, in quick match, or ranked mode.
Deal with Malthael brings cool rewards
The rewards include the following:
- Heroes of the Storm: Leoric’s Phantom Steed (mount) and an epic loot chest (at least 1 epic item guaranteed)
- Diablo III: The Wings of “Ghost Kerrigan”
You shouldn’t take too long for the mission, as the quest is only active until June 26, 2017 – afterwards, all rewards are (temporarily) lost. Whether the items will be available again is still unknown.
