Which film is it about? In the Water of the Seine is a French shark horror movie that premiered worldwide on June 5, 2024, on Netflix. It is about a mutated shark that disrupts the preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
The environmental activist Mika (played by Léa Léviant) informs marine biologist Sophia (played by Bérénice Bejo) about the mutated shark that has wandered into the Seine. To prevent an impending bloodbath, the two women team up with water police officer Adil (played by Nassim Lyes).
