Horizon Zero Dawn was featured at Sony’s press conference at the E3 2016. There was a longer video with gameplay scenes for the action RPG with the unusual setting.
At E3 2016, Sony showcased a brand new gameplay video for Horizon Zero Dawn during its press conference. In it, we see the red-haired heroine Aloy – who resembles a certain “Ygritte” from Game of Thrones – on her first excursions through the post-apocalyptic world of the game. Indeed, bizarre robotic animals roam through picturesque mixed forests and green river meadows.

Aloy tries to uncover the secret behind corrupted animal-machines in the video and ultimately encounters an ancient machine responsible for the corruption that puts up a tough fight. However, the tough archer can analyze the weaknesses of the robo-animals using a type of headset and effectively counter them. The giant creature at the end, for example, she pins down with special harpoons, and she can even hack a sort of robotic bull to ride it.
Horizon Zero Dawn is being developed exclusively for the Playstation 4 by Guerilla Games – the creators of Killzone. We have also included the video of Aloy’s battle against the machine monsters here for you.
