Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game with an open world, where you will slip into the role of a wizard within the well-known Harry Potter universe and explore Hogwarts in the 19th century. First gameplay videos show the creation of your own character, battles with wands, and exploratory flights on magical creatures. The RPG will be released on February 10, 2023, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and will later also be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. However, Hogwarts Legacy is already causing heated discussions even before its release, as the creator of the wizarding universe, J.K. Rowling, made controversial statements regarding transgender people, and calls for a boycott of the game have arisen.
