At BlizzCon 2019, the next expansion of World of Warcraft was revealed. We will tell you what to expect in “Shadowlands.”
BlizzCon 2019 has begun and the opening ceremony is in full swing. Many innovations are being presented, among them the curtain has finally been lifted for the next expansion of World of Warcraft. With the next addon of WoW, we are going to the “Shadowlands”! The first trailer shows an epic battle between Sylvanas and Bolvar.

What is shown in the trailer? Blizzard has released a thick cinematic in which Sylvanas takes on the current Lich King Bolvar. The battle is in full swing and seems balanced – until Sylvanas gains the upper hand. She manages to overcome and chain the Lich King. Subsequently, she steals his helm, the Helm of Domination.
Bolvar warns Sylvanas that the power of the helm would be an eternal prison for her. But instead of putting on the helm and exposing herself to eternal damnation, she breaks the helm, thus destroying it. In doing so, she tears a rift in the fabric of the world, the entire sky shatters and opens the gateway to the “Shadowlands” – the realm of death of World of Warcraft.
This is our entry into the Shadowlands, the “Shadowlands,” in which the next expansion will take place.
What are the Shadowlands? In the Shadowlands, one finds the souls of the dead. But also the Val’kyr and other entities, such as spirit healers, come from this world. It is essentially a “new continent” with many new zones, completely new species, and many new races and enemies that players can encounter. More on this coming soon.
