Lilith is the great antagonist in Diablo 4. She is the daughter of hatred and queen of the succubi. However, demons, and especially succubi, are not exactly known for running around in shirts and dresses. Therefore, one player wonders why Lilith even wears clothes.
This question burned in the souls of Diablo 4 players: The user in the reddit forum admits that he is not very familiar with the lore of Diablo 4. However, he can’t think of any demons that wear clothes. Lilith should actually be just as naked as the other demons. Especially as a succubus, she should seduce humanity with her nudity. But even dressed, Lilith can win many players’ hearts. One fan even asked Blizzard if there is any way to date Lilith. But indeed, the question is justified, as Lilith is among many demons that do not wear clothes.

What explanation do the users provide? Among the responses are numerous ridiculous comments. Many accuse the user of simply being eager to see Lilith without clothes.
A user explains that Baal also wore clothes. Baal is the lord of destruction and one of the Prime Evils, which also includes Diablo and Mephisto. Since Baal is also Lilith’s uncle, she might have picked up her fashion sense from him.
And demoness Andariel also wears clothes that cover the necessities. Some demons have more style than others.
However, there are also serious answers: The most plausible one is that Blizzard cannot depict a naked demon on the packaging of Diablo 4. A naked demon on the cover would have made sales significantly more complicated.
Besides this quite sober answer, the user pebrocks provided another explanation. He thinks that Lilith’s clothing relates to her backstory or her current plan:
That’s pure speculation, but since she was the precursor of humans and spent time with them, she has adopted their clothing culture. Or she wears clothes to appear “more human” to those she tries to convert.
In fact, both possibilities would be a plausible explanation for why Lilith wears clothes. After all, Lilith tries to use humans for her own plans and might therefore adapt to their customs to convert them. To her, humans are worth less than slaves.
