In Heroes of the Storm a new hero is coming soon! This time it’s a particularly cool warrior, of whose type we first encountered in the strategy game Warcraft 3 – the Orc Samuro. He belongs to the legendary caste of the Blademasters, a mix of samurai and ninja.
One of the coolest classes in Blizzard’s strategy game hit Warcraft 3 was the Blademaster. A mix of Orc warrior, samurai, and ninja, who wore armor elements of a samurai armor, prayer beads, and a cool “Sashimono” as a back banner. With his fast gameplay and cool area attacks, the Blademaster was the ideal choice for all Warcraft players who preferred to be offensive.
Samurai-Ninja-Orc!
If you miss this old time and would love to play a Blademaster again, you will soon have the opportunity in Blizzard’s MOBA Heroes of the Storm. Because recently, Blizzard introduced another hero and after the tough Russian Zarya from Overwatch and the rude Protoss Alarak from StarCraft 2 came into the game, it is now time for the Orc-Blademaster Samuro!
Samuro stays true to the ideal of the fast and brutally offensive warrior from Warcraft 3 and thus comes as an assassin in Heroes of the Storm. His main task is to hunt down and eliminate other heroes, using the following skills:
Advancement (Passive): If Samuro hits a hero with an automatic attack, he will be 25 percent faster for 2 seconds.
Mirror Image: Creates two mirror images with 50 percent health. They remain active for 18 seconds and deal 30 percent of Samuro’s damage.
Critical Strike: The next attack deals 50 percent more damage. As a passive feature, every fourth hit is automatically a critical strike.
Wind Walk: Samuro becomes invisible and can pass through other heroes. Ends after eight seconds or if Samuro attacks or takes damage.
Blade Storm (Ultimate): Samuro whirls for 4 seconds and deals a lot of damage.
Illusion Master (Ultimate): Switches positions with a selected mirror image. Passively, the mirror images can be controlled and deal 15 percent more damage.
With these skills, Samuro has the potential to be a very dangerous harasser who could rival Tracer. And to emphasize the cool samurai feeling, there is a fun trailer for the new hero that we don’t want to withhold from you. But how do you feel about the Samurai-Ninja? Let us know and write it in the comments!
