The current patch for Heroes of the Storm primarily adjusts the stats and talents of two heroes. Warlock Gul’dan receives a buff to his alternate talents and angel Auriel has been slightly nerfed. However, other heroes also receive minor adjustments.
Players who often enjoyed playing the wicked Orc Warlock Gul’dan in Blizzard’s MOBA Heroes of the Storm usually only focused on the talent “Ruinous Affliction/Unheilvolles Gebrechen” at level 16. The other options were uninteresting. Therefore, Blizzard has now also improved the alternate talents a bit so that not all Gul’dans are the same. Unheilvolles Gebrechen remains a good talent and is not affected by the patch.
On the other hand, Auriel, the currently newest heroine in the game, is getting a nerf. The Archangel of Hope was a bit too strong with the skill “blessed swing”. Therefore, the developers have reduced her damage while increasing her standard attacks. According to Blizzard, these have previously been rather weak. In addition to Auriel and Gul’dan, Sergeant Hammer is receiving a substantial range buff and Archangel Tyrael has been slightly nerfed.
