Two days ago, the “Heroes of the Storm” launch event took place in London, and as expected from Blizzard, the show organizers managed once again to present some spectacular effects.
A Tribute to the Fans
For the event, a completely new cinematic video was created. The special aspect: Some players who had previously registered on a website became part of this short film and could suddenly recognize their own photo.
But that’s only half the story: Unlike previous cinematics, this one is not in a 16:9 format but was specifically created for projection on a wall, which incorporates both the columns and the texture of the background. Additionally, there are incredible 3D effects that bring it all to life. A YouTube video has captured the show quite well – but I can hardly imagine how outstanding it must have been to be there in person. But judge for yourself:
