The Protoss probe Probius is now available in HotS and there is also a revision of Cho’Gall.
The latest patch for Heroes of the Storm was deployed last night (14.03.2017) and brought the long-awaited hero Probius with it. Probius is a specialist and comes from the universe of StarCraft 2. During the reclamation of the Protoss homeworld Aiur, he played a significant role as he warped in the crucial pylon that ultimately allowed the attack to succeed.
Probius has the abilities that characterized a typical building unit in StarCraft 2. He can warp in pylons, in which he can then build turrets. Additionally, he creates warp rifts that he can detonate with a second spell to deal massive area damage.
In compensation, Probius is quite fragile and must be played cautiously to survive fights.
Cho’Gall is being revised – and free for friends
Cho’Gall is receiving a major update as he is getting new talents and abilities. The two heads (= 2 players) must coordinate when to use their new passive abilities. One increases Cho’s armor, while the other increases Gall’s damage.
Anyone who does not yet have Cho’Gall should now find a partner who already owns him. If you complete 2 matches with a friend who possesses Cho’Gall (and plays Cho’Gall), you will also permanently receive the ogre.
Besides that, the patch also brought some interface changes. There are now new displays for the team, so you can always easily keep an eye on the HP and mana of your teammates. Tactical decisions should thus be easier to make.
Soon, Heroes of the Storm will also receive more Overwatch heroes, but …
