This was the nostalgia challenge: Since early May, different generations of Pokémon GO were in the spotlight each week. The finale was the event focused on the Unova region and the first Galar Pokémon.
The celebrations are now over and new events will start in June.
What’s waiting for you in June
Raid Weekend with Latias and Latios: The next known event revolves around legendary Pokémon. There will be a Raid Weekend with Latias and Latios starting on June 12, which will last until June 15.
During this time, the Eon Duo will appear in raids again. However, no additional bonuses are known.
Zekrom comes into the raids: From June 16, you will find Zekrom in the legendary raids. It will replace Reshiram.
Zekrom will then be the best Electric attacker in the game and is definitely worth it. You should save some raid passes for this legendary Pokémon.
Event for the Summer Solstice: On June 19, it continues with the event for the summer solstice. This will last until June 24.
Details about this are not yet known, but many trainers expect a swap of Lunatone and Solrock. We might get a different regional Pokémon.
Community Day with Hornliu: During the event for the summer solstice, there will also be the Community Day in June with Hornliu. This will take place on June 20, and further details are not yet known.
You will encounter Shiny Hornliu for the first time and Bibor will learn the move Drill Run.
Bug Event: From June 26 to July 1, there will be a bug event in Pokémon GO. Numerous bug-type Pokémon will be the focus.
There are no further details yet about what exactly will happen during the event. However, data miners have already found information about a raid day with Pinsir that would fit well into this event.
These events happen regularly: Every Tuesday in June, there will be a spotlight hour. All 4 Pokémon are already known for this.
Additionally, there will be a raid hour every Wednesday. They will alternate between Reshiram and Zekrom. So you will have something to do even in weeks where there is not much going on in Pokémon GO.
