A new trailer is supposed to attract more players to World of Warcraft. Here you can watch “Spark of War”.
Last night (August 13 to 14, 2018) the new expansion of World of Warcraft launched. In line with the start of the new expansion, Blizzard also released a corresponding launch trailer that aims to capture the atmosphere and theme of the expansion. You can watch the corresponding video here.

Compilation of cutscenes. As usual, the launch trailer is a compilation of the cutscenes featured at the start of Battle for Azeroth. Alongside well-known characters like Sylvanas, Anduin, and Jaina, there are also a few new figures to be seen.
- Priscilla Ashenwind does not think much of Jaina’s attempts to reconnect the Alliance with Kul Tiras.
- Katherine Proudmoore, Jaina’s mother, is also not particularly pleased with her daughter’s actions.
- King Rastakhan leads the trolls; he is considered wise and foresighted – but is often heavily influenced by his advisors.
- The troll princess Talanji leads the Horde to Zandalar and grants them refuge for now until they can prove themselves.
- The lo’a of death Bwonsamdi enjoys collecting the souls of trolls and is always pleased when the living make a pact with him.
