The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) offers an extremely vast amount of content. It takes a significant amount of time to experience it all. One player, however, has completed nearly the entire game and invested a lot of time.
In ESO, you can explore a massive online world and spend countless hours there. Especially if you want to experience and complete all the content the game has to offer. Two players have recently done just that and posted screenshots as proof.
One of them, the player HipsterGandalf42 from Germany, described in detail what he did and how long it took – specifically, he described it and a friend of his posted it in the forum (via ESO Forum).

Thousands of Hours of Effort
This is everything a player has done in ESO: Overall, HipsterGandalf42 has completed the following actions:
- Bought all houses, but not those from the cash shop
- Learned all crafting motifs, recipes, and plans
- Learned all skills with morphs
- Acquired all collectibles since April 2017
- Found all crafting stations
- Located all lore books, sky shards, mundus stones, dyes, etc.
- Fully collected 4 complete seasons of loot boxes
- Finished all achievements
- Completed all quests in the game
- Maxed out all guilds
- Cleared all dungeons

How long did it take him? HipsterGandalf42 presumably invested over 5,000 hours in all these tasks. That corresponds to about 200 full days spent in Tamriel.
Why did he do it? Because he can!
Is anything missing? Indeed, there are still a few small things left. He still needs a few points for the Honor Guard outfit, which, however, was not available in the game at the time of this article. He intends to catch up on that soon. In addition, he still lacks 5 outfits from the battlegrounds that he has not completely grinded through yet.
And then he wants to have all houses from the cash shop. Ideally, when they can be traded among players.

Who else has achieved this? Besides HipsterGandalf42, we also know of a player from England named ScottOfLibertalia, who has also achieved all achievements in the game (though not all other collectibles).
There might be more players who have achieved such success in ESO, but it shouldn’t be many given the abundance of content in ESO.
