Blizzard has released a first trailer for the new Overwatch hero Sigma. We will show you who he is.
For several days, Blizzard has been publishing new teasers for a new hero. After a leak revealed that the new hero is a character named “Sigma”, many speculations have arisen. Now there is finally a resolution, as Sigma has received a first trailer.
This is seen in the trailer: Sigma has dedicated himself to science and has primarily dealt with gravity. For him, gravity has always been a restraint that limits him and all of humanity. He developed a theory with which, he hoped, one could harness the power of black holes.
However, something went wrong during the attempt and the protection field collapsed. This had an impact on Sigma, who has since changed. He was captured and monitored after the accident – but that apparently did not help. His personality is split and he hears multiple voices in his head.
Now “the universe sings for him,” as he seems to have understood a cosmic truth that no one else understands – he has thus gone insane. This melody of the universe seems to torment him at the same time.

Sigma is part of Talon: The trailer reveals that Sigma is part of Talon and is thus probably more categorized as “evil”. It is not surprising that this is the case for a character who has been exposed to a bit too much cosmic radiation. However, it will be interesting to see what relationship Sigma has with the other characters. He should at least get along well with Moira – as they are both scientists.
