Black Myth Wukong
Black Myth Wukong is based on the classic literary work “Journey to the West,” which is about the Monkey King “Wukong.” As a monkey, you defy the gods of the world and fight against your fate with your magical staff and various ghost powers. The enemies represent familiar faces from Chinese folklore.
Since you always fight with your staff, there are three different stances that change your fighting style and provide variety – just like in Nioh 2. The difference is that your protagonist cannot block or parry.
You either dodge at the right moment or can dig your own grave. The game world is not fully traversable and is divided into chapters – however, the areas are gigantic and contain secrets that only sniffers can spot. So, it’s worth exploring the world and delving into the story behind the novel.
Finally, the game also offers a lot for story fans, as the story is directly narrated and is accompanied by cinematics.
