Speaking of the game world, there are fixed biomes that repeat, but what doesn’t repeat are the maps. These are procedurally generated, keeping them fresh. After playing through the story once, you can generate a new run that doesn’t resemble your previous one.
As for fighting, you can use rustic melee or brutal firearms. Additionally, the mod system allows these weapons to be further customized to deal more damage or provide support.
Thus, Remnant 2 offers a refreshing change from the familiar medieval setting. The fun is limitless, but don’t expect an Oscar-worthy story – this is where the game falters a bit.
