Mortal Shell is an indie game from the developers of Cold Symmetry. The game can stand out for its dark and attractive graphics, but the most exciting feature are the shells. You don’t create your protagonist traditionally with an individual appearance; instead, you take on the body of fallen fighters as a mysterious entity.

Each of these shells has its own combat style and appearance, thus changing how the game feels. Since Mortal Shell is an indie game, the game time is correspondingly shorter than that of Dark Souls.
However, the game is still worthwhile, especially if you are looking for a game with hefty combat and a bit more realism. As for the story, unfortunately, you can’t expect much. Exploring the areas is rather in focus.
