The virtual ticket for BlizzCon comes with some rewards in World of Warcraft. We will tell you what is available this year.
Those who are present live at BlizzCon 2018 or purchase a virtual ticket will also receive some goodies in World of Warcraft in 2018. The highlight for most players will likely be the participation in the demo of WoW: Classic, but there are also two in-game rewards available in the current version.
Cloak of the faction: Players receive a unique cloak for both factions that displays the emblem of the Alliance or the emblem of the Horde. The cloak is a cosmetic item and can be used for transmogification. It has no stats.
Battle banner of both factions: In addition, there is a battle banner of the Horde or the Alliance, a toy for your collection. With it, you can repeatedly set up an (impressive) standard and showcase your allegiance – or just show off a bit that you even own the banners.
Overwatch players also receive a cool skin for Sombra.
How much does the virtual ticket cost? The virtual ticket for BlizzCon costs a hefty 40 euros this year and has thus become a bit more expensive than in previous years. No reason for the price increase was given. However, those who only want to experience the latest announcements do not need a virtual ticket. The “Opening Ceremony” with all important new announcements is, as usual, free for all interested parties.
Community reaction is rather subdued: The goodies this year are not particularly well received by players. This is mainly because last year there was a really cool mount – an airship of the Horde or the Alliance. For many players, a cloak and a banner as toys seem like a massive step back and they are disappointed.
