Rank 8: Night Lords
The Night Lords are the descendants of the now-dead Primarch Konrad Curze. Since the death of the Primarch, the Night Lords have become a scattered legion that hardly fights in an organized manner. This greatly weakens the legion as a whole.
Moreover, the Night Lords rely primarily on fear, terror, and psychological warfare – all things that are not very effective against other Chaos Space Marines. Members of other traitor legions might even find the armors of the Night Lords, decorated with the skin and flesh of humans, rather attractive.
Like with the Alpha Legion, it holds true that the Night Lords are not necessarily Chaos worshipers. Some of them reject any kind of faith and claim they are free from the taint of Chaos. Most of them value power above all else, regardless of where it comes from.
