Humblewood

Humblewood is not an official setting from Wizards of the Coast, but rather a highly successful third-party campaign world funded through Kickstarter by Hit Point Press. However, it is fully compatible with the rules of the 5th edition (5e) of D&D and is also available through DnD Beyond, providing a campaign setting of a different kind that is why we included it.
In Humblewood, players encounter a world inhabited solely by intelligent, upright-walking animal races living in a vast forest. Instead of elves, dwarves, and humans, players choose from various animal species divided into birdfolk and groundfolk.
The capital of the birdfolk is Alderheart, a large city built in the branches of a massive tree, while the groundfolk are found primarily in smaller settlements.
The focal point of the setting is a massive fire that has engulfed a part of the forest and continues to spread. Players must uncover the cause of the fire and unite the races of the forest to protect their homeland and preserve it from destruction.
Humblewood can best be described as a kind of “cozy setting” where epic scenes and battles are not lacking, utilizing the familiar rules of Dungeons & Dragons.
In addition to the settings, the characters and creatures you encounter are also pivotal to your adventures. The multiverse of Dungeons & Dragons features a plethora of monsters that stand out simply because they sound utterly absurd.
