Spelljammer
Unlike playing in classic dungeons or on a single continent, Spelljammer shifts the adventure into space. Adventurers do not enter a cold scientific void as often seen in science fiction, but rather a colorful cosmos full of magic, myths, and wonders.
Instead of just traveling over land and sea, adventurers here sail with magically powered ships through Wildspace, The Astral Sea, and other dimensions. These ships do not look like classic spaceships but resemble impressive ships, animals, or castles that have been magically altered for their journey into space.
On your adventures in this setting, you may encounter flying cities, bizarre creatures, and strange planets. The Spelljammer setting is also home to the notorious space hamsters, who should not be underestimated, no matter how cuddly they may seem.
