Lor’themar Theron – The new leader of the Blood Elves
Lor’themar Theron was one of the leaders of the Farstriders when Silvermoon fell in the fight against the Scourge. At the time of Kael’thas’ rule, Lor’themar became the Regent Lord, ruling over the city and the people in the king’s absence.
With the betrayal of the king, Lor’themar ultimately decided to turn away from Kael’thas and take full control of Silvermoon and the realm of the Blood Elves. He usually makes decisions in conjunction with Grand Magister Rommath, the leader of the mages of Quel’thalas, and Halduron Brightwing, the ranger general of Silvermoon.
Lor’themar has been responsible for increasing the Blood Elves’ ties to the Horde, giving them greater political weight within the Horde.
This urge to prove himself was somewhat exploited by Garrosh Hellscream during “Mists of Pandaria” and led to further losses among the Blood Elves, further diminishing the already heavily decimated race.

Since the downfall of the old Horde and the abolition of the Warchief, Lor’themar has been a regular member of the Horde Council, making all major decisions.
Lor’themar has made many decisions, such as the banishment of the Void Elves from Quel’thalas and the abolition of the Demon Crystals that had long been found throughout Silvermoon. The Blood Elf people is slowly recovering under his leadership from the effects of demonic magic, although Silvermoon remains fundamentally a rather totalitarian system with strict hierarchies, where its populace is under nearly permanent observation.
After the Shal’dorei, the Nightborne, joined the Horde, Lor’themar grew closer to their leader Thalyssra until the two eventually married, further uniting their two peoples.
Although he is a Blood Elf, he has rather limited magical abilities as a ranger, which Thalyssra occasionally exploits – usually with a pinch of humor.
