2. Dragon Pilot

What is it about? The shy Hisone Amakasu works as a freshly recruited member of the Japanese Air Force. She is unexpectedly selected as a dragon pilot and meets Masotan, a secret dragon that disguises itself as a fighter jet when flying through the air.
The Japanese government has kept dragons secret for centuries. They serve as powerful flying machines that can only be controlled by selected pilots.
Hisone must now learn to cope with being swallowed by her dragon and later spat out – because dragons can only be controlled from the inside.
Why is the anime special? In general, the anime is quite humorously designed. Because even though there are dragons that disguise themselves as fighter jets, Hisone must also deal with the ordinary pitfalls of working life.
Whether it’s how Hisone is pushed by her superiors into the role of dragon pilot, or that her colleague wants to get rid of her. Then there’s an employee who immediately snuggles up to her, while another constantly has to profess that he does not find her attractive – even though no one really cares.
Dragon Pilot is simply an incredibly likeable anime and ensures that you immediately feel good. The anime combines fantasy, military, and coming-of-age elements.
