Helldivers 2 gets new missions where you play the babysitter for bug larvae and shoot your way through huge hordes.
How do you become the bug babysitter? With the upcoming update for Helldivers 2, a new mission will be added to the co-op shooter that makes you a kind of babysitter for bug larvae. While you typically shoot your way through massive hordes of enemies, now you are supposed to abduct their larvae and transport them across the map. In doing so, you must protect yourself from attacking hordes of insects.
While transporting the larvae across the map, they naturally attract a multitude of terminids with their cries. They attack you in droves, ensuring that transporting them won’t be boring.

Which game does the new mission remind you of? The larva in its glass container is reminiscent of Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima’s post-apocalyptic game. In Death Stranding, you constantly carry a baby in a container with you as you travel across the map.
Although you are constantly exploring the world in Death Stranding without other players, you can support each other. You do this through messages and structures that other players can see and use. This makes Death Stranding the loneliest multiplayer game.
What other content does the update bring? “Escalation of Freedom” includes, among other things, a new difficulty level, larger enemy outposts, and new enemies on the side of the terminids and the robots.
Additionally, a new system is being introduced that protects your loot when the host of a mission kicks you out of the lobby just before the end. Until then, you would have lost all collected samples if you were kicked: Helldivers 2 brings a new system that saves your loot when undemocratic jerks ruin the game for you
