Helldivers 2 offers new orders daily where you can earn medals. One task could be to eliminate troopers. We provide tips on how to do this most effectively.
Effectively kill troopers in Helldivers 2
How to find the troopers: Troopers can only be found in the red sectors of the galactic map in Helldivers 2. You are most likely to encounter them at their bases. They guard their factories or man turrets there.
They are also dropped off by landing ships and can be encountered as patrols. A higher difficulty is not necessary for these enemies to spawn, as they are not considered “Armored Units”.
How to kill the troopers: The troopers are easy to eliminate. They possess no armor and can be sent to the technical afterlife with targeted headshots. Keep in mind that some of the troopers are agile or can attack you from long distances.
The melee fighters are quick and try to slice you open. Therefore, pay attention to your surroundings and use shotguns to tear them apart in close combat.
The rocket launcher troopers are also deadly sniper shooters. If you are not careful and do not have a shield equipped, you could even be killed by one of their shots. Therefore, eliminate the rocket warriors first before focusing on the other units.
With the weapons, you can’t go wrong with the Breaker, the Liberator, or the Sickle. All the listed guns do their job excellently and shred your robot enemies in seconds.
If you need to reload, you can also use grenades like the G-16 impact. This model requires no fuse time and allows your enemies to explode on impact.
How do I find the troopers most easily? To find the troopers most effectively, you should tackle missions on lower difficulty levels. It is completely sufficient to select “Trivial” or “Easy” level. This way, you won’t face “Heavily Armored Enemies” and can fully concentrate on the troopers without being torn apart.
