In Helldivers 2, players can unlock many weapons through war bonds to improve their equipment. We show you the best weapons, grenades, and support weapons in the tier list and reveal which ones you should take into combat and which ones you should avoid.
Which weapons can be found in the tier list? In this list, we have listed all primary, secondary, and support weapons, as well as grenades that can currently be earned in Helldivers 2. In our ranking, we have compared the statistics of the individual weapons and observed them in combat.
It was important for us to evaluate the functionality and efficiency of the weapons in order to classify them in our tier list from class S (universally applicable) to C (only conditionally recommended). If you disagree with our tier list, feel free to leave a comment!

Which are the best weapons? The best primary weapons include explosive weapons like the Dominator or Sickle. They can keep enemies at bay and can also compete against heavily armored foes.
With the secondary weapons, it’s up to you what to play with. Depending on your build, the P-19, the Senator or even the grenade launcher can be worthwhile.
Depending on the situation, you can choose your grenades freely. As a general all-rounder, you should carry the G-12-Hochexplosiv. It quickly deals with factories or breeding grounds and can also deliver a strong blow to armored foes. However, the Thermite is also a strong choice against the bugs.
If you are looking for a panic grenade against many opponents, the G-16-Einschlag would be a good choice. It explodes immediately upon impact with an object or enemy. To stop enemies, the G-23-Betäubung could also be useful.
For support weapons, you should focus on three weapons:
- Bow thrower: For quickly mowing down many opponents
- Quasarkanone: To destroy armored enemies or landing ships
- Automatic cannon: To efficiently deal with breeding grounds, eggs, or factories
Depending on which mission you embark on, you should swap your support weapon.
Things you should still consider: The tier list is mainly meant to give you a feel for the weapons, so you know roughly which gun you can’t go wrong with when you equip it. Even with C-tier weapons, you can tackle heavy missions, but you need to be more cautious in combat and know where the strengths and weaknesses of your rifle lie.
