Which patch are we talking about? The developers of Helldivers 2 uploaded a video about patch 01.001.100 on YouTube on September 17. This major patch mainly included numerous buffs, but also nerfs from earlier patches were reversed.
The patch seems to be well received by players so far, as the player count on Steam increased from 20,000 to 40,000 on the day of the patch release (via SteamDB).

particularly highlights in a comment on Reddit how cool he finds that desert planets are now only affected by intense heat during the day. At night, there is no longer a modifier or instead extreme cold. With over 2,000 upvotes, the community also shows enthusiasm for this change.

also expresses in a comment on Reddit his excitement about the patch. He particularly likes the buffs mentioned earlier, especially the buff for the railgun, crossbow, and thermite regarding damage. For example, the damage of the crossbow was increased from 150 to 350.
