Patch 01.001.002 – Patch Notes
Main Updates
Difficulty Level 10 – Super Helldive
- A new, extreme difficulty level for the most experienced and skilled Helldivers with impressive new enemies and nerve-wracking challenges.
New mission objectives
- Two new secondary objectives will soon be active on a planet near you! With these faction-specific optional goals, you need to attack the human processing plants of the robots to destroy their lethal bio-processor, and you’ll have to venture deep into terminid territory to extract a living larva as a sample that the bugs want back at all costs!
Larger enemy outposts
- Raid the strongholds of terminids and robot fortresses on the new difficulty level “Super Helldive”.
The challenge is great, but the rewards are even greater. Thoroughly search the conquered outposts for confidential data and take them with you before you evacuate. May freedom guide you.
New bugs and bots
- New and stronger threats to freedom emerge.
A familiar nuisance makes its comeback: The Impaler returns, digs its head in, and launches tentacles from the ground to ambush you. Watch out for its deadly limbs, but don’t miss its weak point when it digs in – self-preservation still doesn’t seem to be its strength! - However, the Impaler is not everything. Get ready for more terrifying enemies! The Rocket Tank rolls in with heavy armor and devastating firepower. The reinforced scout walker has protected its previously vulnerable spot and now has two rockets on each side for more firepower! The Sporesprouter fearlessly pushes through the dense, acidic fog. Accompanied by an Alpha Commander – watch out for his friends!
New swamp planet
- Get ready to land on a creepy and foggy version of the swamp planet. Stay alert and don’t let fear overwhelm you.
New environmental hazards
- Acid storms temporarily impair the armor of opponents and players. Use this to your advantage, but always stay alert, Helldivers.
