The new patch in Helldivers 2 hides a new threat from the robots. With 2 new enemy types, the Terminator-like faction poses a new danger to democracy and freedom.
The new patch 01.000.200 has been released and in the patch notes, there are some new balancing changes for many weapons. In particular, the Anti-Materiel Rifle and the Diligence Counter Sniper are being improved. The firearms are also getting a buff.
The Slugger shotgun, the heavy machine gun, and the Arc Thrower are being nerfed. You can find more details about the patch notes here on MeinMMO. However, a new threat is not mentioned in the patch notes. Many players report that the robot faction has a new gigantic enemy type that makes the combat significantly more difficult for you.
Two new gigantic threats
As several players report on Reddit, they have discovered a new threat to democracy and freedom in the fight against the robots. One of them is the Factory Strider, as PCGamer reports. This vehicle is a large colossus with 4 legs. It is supposed to be a large mobile fortress for the robots and it possesses cannons, lasers, and can also spawn robots.
In addition to this, there are the so-called Gunships. This new enemy type appears in swarms and is a kind of small drone that makes your life hell. The Gunships fire lasers and small rockets.
The players on Reddit are shocked by the new threat, especially since the update logs wrote nothing about the new enemies.
