The Scout Striders are annoying robotic units that appear in groups and can bombard you in a “Star Wars”-like manner. While individual Scout Striders pose no threat, large groups of them are annoying pests that you must eliminate.

Killing Scout Striders in Helldivers 2 – Here’s how to find them

How to find a Scout Strider: The Scout Striders in Helldivers 2 can only be found in the red sectors of the robots. Use the world map and choose an operation on a robot-infested planet.

Once you land, it’s best to seek out a patrol or an outpost. Scout Striders can also be easily found on the missions “Eliminate Robot Forces”.

How to destroy the Scout Strider: These units can actually be easily taken out; you need to target the pilot. The pilot of such a vehicle can be seen peeking over his cover with his glowing robotic eyes. If you manage to get a precise headshot, the Scout Strider will simply fall over, and that’s it.

However, in a hail of bullets, it is not easy to quickly aim at the pilot’s head, so you should have explosive weapons with you.

Weapons you should take with you for the fight against the Scout Striders include the anti-materiel rifle, disposable anti-tank, the recoilless rifle, the railgun, the automatic cannon, and the spear.

In our tests, the automatic cannon and the recoilless rifle proved especially effective. A precise shot at the outer hull destroys the driver and his vehicle. Grenades also suffice.

Orbital cannons like the laser or fire from the eagle can decimate several units of the Strider. If they are on cooldown, tactical equipment would be the more efficient choice for destruction.
