Running away won’t help, you have to kill them. Choose missions that involve a lot of exploration on the map when hunting Stalkers. If you encounter a Stalker, you need to find out where they come from, as they spawn until their nest is destroyed. This way, you can farm them easily.

To kill them, you should bring a powerful weapon, as if they do not die, they will retreat using their camouflage mode and reposition for a counterattack. The Automatic Cannon, the Dominator, or the Brand-Breaker are effective weapons to deal with these creatures.
