In Helldivers 2 there is an amusement park with alien bugs. Just a month after the opening, a disaster followed.
What kind of park is this? In Helldivers 2, a sort of Jurassic Park with alien bugs opened in October 2024, where “adventurous and well-paid citizens” can observe Terminids in their natural environment. This park was named “Tyranny Park”.
As a reminder: Terminids are the large, evil alien bugs that we have been relentlessly fighting against for months. A fight that cost many Helldivers their lives.
Although you cannot visit Tyranny Park, Over-Earth informed players a few weeks ago in an in-game message about the attraction’s opening.
The latest war bond “Truth Enforcer” provides you with a new shotgun and a submachine gun, among other things. Here is a trailer:
Jurassic Park with alien bugs obviously goes wrong
What has now happened to the park? There is a new message in the game directed at all Helldivers containing a new general order. Through this message, we learn that a massive Terminid nest has erupted under the park.
The Terminid outbreak resulted in the visitors and staff of the park being “massacred” by the bugs. Just like in the film Jurassic Park, the Terminid zoo ended in a disaster.
Furthermore, the outbreak is said to also affect the surrounding planets, including planet Turing, where the research center for Xenoentomology is located. This means research on alien insects is being conducted there.
October was an exciting month for Helldivers 2. Not only because the Tyranny Park was opened for the entertainment of wealthy citizens for the first time. There was also the first holiday, Liberty Day: Helldivers 2 celebrates its first holiday today – Bringing back iconic armor and weapons for nostalgics
