In Helldivers 2, the onslaught on Cyberstan has brought forth many new enemy units, one of which is the Vox Engine. Many soldiers struggle to defeat it, but we will show you where its weaknesses lie.
The Vox Engine, or “Cyborg-Vox-Machine”, is a new armored unit of robots that unleashes propaganda and heavy fire upon you. Those who are not careful risk being torn apart by explosive projectiles. It is therefore important to immediately destroy this unit when you see it. We will therefore show you its weaknesses and tactics to destroy the war machine.
Destroying the Vox Engine – Here are its weaknesses
Where can I find the weaknesses? There are a total of 6 weaknesses on the Vox Engine:
- Three on the lower back
- Three in the hip area
The weaknesses look like the glowing ventilation slots of the tanks or hulks. If you focus on a set of weaknesses and destroy them (either top or bottom), a hatch will open.
This hatch is located, depending on the focused weakness, either at the top of the neck or at the rear hip of the Vox Engine. Throw a grenade into one of the hatches and watch as this unit explodes. Besides that, you can also target the robot’s face – that is also a weakness.
How to destroy the Vox Engine: There are several options to annihilate the robot:
- Use the tactic with the ventilation slots and the grenade.
- Shoot 3 times at the head with the recoilless rifle.
- Place 3 C4 charges on the head.
- Shoot at the head with the Bastion tank.
