An old god who loves to cast spells – and makes everyone laugh
Of all the crazy cards that “Whispers of the Old Gods” has brought into the game world of Hearthstone, “Yogg-Saron, Hope’s End” is probably the weirdest card. The old god is known in the Warcraft universe for his whispers of madness and lives up to that reputation in the card game.
When played, his Battlecry ensures that a lot of spells are cast. How many exactly? That depends on how many spells the owner of Yogg-Saron has cast during the game.
However, what happens on the battlefield is completely random, as Yogg-Saron casts spells from all possible classes and targets randomly. Chaos and madness are thus guaranteed. The Youtuber Hearthstone SparkTV has compiled the best clips from various streamers.
Among other things, there are videos of the well-known players Forsen and Kripparian, who sometimes experience quite a shock when the fireballs fly back into their own face or repeated sprinting causes them to die from exhaustion damage. In any case, the results are laughable and bring good cheer – and these are exactly the experiences Blizzard wanted to force with the latest expansion.
