In Hearthstone, players are currently enjoying the 135 new cards from the new expansion Scholomance Academy. However, it seems that the developers have big plans to improve rewards for players. Even a Battle Pass has been discussed. But what does that mean? Will players have to pay more money? Or will everything become easier for players?
Survey fuels Battle Pass rumors: The current rumors about a Battle Pass are due to a survey. Some players were invited by Blizzard to participate in a survey, where a Battle Pass system was also presented. As is common with such systems, there would have been a free path and a paid path. Both would have meant plenty of card packs, unlockable heroes, gold, and additional cosmetic rewards.
The survey led to many reactions and discussions in the Hearthstone subreddit.

This is how it is really going to be: During an “Ask Me Anything” (AMA), the Hearthstone team addressed questions regarding these rumors. While the term “Battle Pass” was not used, several similar mechanics were described.
