The next expansion for Hearthstone is Rastakhan’s Rumble. We will share all the details that are already known.
At BlizzCon 2018, the next expansion for Hearthstone was presented. After a leak already revealed that it is about trolls, this was confirmed during the opening ceremony. In Rastakhan’s Rumble, everything revolves around the battles in Stranglethorn Vale, where all trolls gather for a big brawl.
The cinematic for Rastakhan’s Rumble
As always, a new expansion comes with a fresh cinematic and an earworm song. So, if you want to get ready for the add-on, you can sing along here:
What is Rastakhan’s Rumble about? In concept, all trolls gather once per generation to fight in the Gurubashi arena in Stranglethorn Vale. In this wild fight, the trolls team up with their Loa to win the favor of the king.
Each class is assigned a unique Loa, which the cards are thematically based on. For example, priests receive Bwonsamdi, the Loa of Death, while paladins can have Shirvalla the Tiger on their side.
New keyword “Overkill”: With Rastakhan’s Rumble, Blizzard also introduces a new keyword, namely “Overkill”. This is present on several cards and can have different effects. Overkill is triggered every time a minion dies by means of the specified card. For example, there is the weapon Sul’thraze with the Overkill effect: You can attack again.

Many new cards have also been presented in abundance. The first 16 of them are listed here for you, so you can get an initial impression of the new cards. Click on each card to enlarge it.
