In Hearthstone , the popular streamer Amaz recently played a match that he will probably remember for a while.
Recently, the US servers were briefly down and Amaz, perhaps the most popular Hearthstone player in the world, decided to give the Asia server a try. He hadn’t played there for a while, but had a solid deck ready and wanted to see how high he could go.
He played a Control Priest deck, exactly the type of deck with which he succeeded at Dreamhack in Sweden. He would easily handle the first fights against “Rank 25” players, the raging chickens, in his sleep. No question. “Guys,” he reminded his stream, “we’re not pushing around any noobs.”
Yet somehow there was a catch right from the first match… And against a “Free2Play” mage using only basic cards, the hero gradually loses his winning grin.
