The first expansion for “Hearthstone” will be released on December 9 in Europe. All 120 new cards are now known.
Now it came thick and fast. After only a handful of cards were shown per day for weeks, on Tuesday there were 61 new ones. There is a reason for the rush: The first expansion of Hearthstone is supposed to be released on Tuesday, December 9. After Naxxramas came in July, an adventure that only brought new cards in a limited way, “Goblins vs Gnomes” (GvG) will be a full expansion and significantly increase the card pool.
The cards will be available in new booster packs, which can be purchased either for euros or the in-game currency gold. The prices will remain the same as before. Players can also earn packs and individual cards in the Arena: All these options give a random selection of cards. If someone wants to acquire specific cards: These can also be crafted using Arcane Dust, another in-game resource.
The expansion for Hearthstone brings not only cards related to the two World of Warcraft races, Goblins and Gnomes, or their crazy inventions, but also numerous other cards from various thematic areas.
