Four more cards for Hearthstone have been revealed, now it’s about the old god N’Zoth. We have the details.
More tentacles the world needs (or N’Zoth)
After many cards from the new Hearthstone expansion “Whispers of the Old Gods” featuring C’thun have been released in recent days, attention now turns to another ancient being. Today’s reveals include two creatures dedicated to the old god N’Zoth.
As a neutral minion and accessible to all classes, there is a cheaper version of the explosive sheep. The Tentacle of N’Zoth is a 1/1 minion that costs only 1 mana and has a deathrattle effect: Deals 1 damage to all minions. Especially warriors could benefit even more from their Enrage mechanics with this, but other classes are likely to appreciate additional area damage options as well.
Shamans can look forward to the new Legendary Hallazeal the Ascended, as this card has quite a bit up its sleeve. For 5 mana, it offers solid stats of 4/6, but the card text makes it a must-have for many spell-shamans: Whenever your spells deal damage, restore that much health to your hero. And it is as strong as it sounds: Damage spells simultaneously become powerful heals. However, whether the effect is triggered multiple times, for example when Lightning Storm hits multiple minions, remains to be seen.
For warriors, a new pirate card waits, the N’Zoth’s First Mate. For 1 mana, it is not particularly strong with 1/1, but it grants the warrior a 1/3 weapon as a battle cry, allowing small minions to be removed from the field early and making it a solid addition against rush decks – or even helping to build one.
Another neutral minion is the Faceless Shambler. This costs 4 mana, has stats of 1/1 and taunt. As a battle cry, it copies the attack and health points of another friendly minion.
